DAY 1 : FES --> IFRANE--> ZIZ VALLEY-->MERZOUGA
Your 4-day shared desert excursion from Fes to Marrakech begins in the morning at a pre-arranged meeting point. We embark on a scenic drive through Ifrane, a city renowned for its cleanliness and tranquil European atmosphere, where we’ll stop for a break and a coffee.
We continue our journey towards the Azrou Cedar Forest in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe Barbary macaques in their natural habitat and capture stunning photographs.
Next, we travel south through Midelt, passing the enchanting Ziz Valley, adorned with thousands of palm trees, with a stop to admire the breathtaking panoramic views.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where the true desert experience begins. You’ll ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp. Along the way, we’ll stop atop a high sand dune for a sandboarding experience and witness a sunset that paints the sky with unforgettable, magical colors.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT 4x4 ADVENTURE & NOMAD VISIT
Start your day early to enjoy the sunrise over the golden dunes, where the light reflects off the sand in a breathtaking and unforgettable natural spectacle.
After a delicious breakfast at the campsite, we embark on a 4×4 excursion through the Merzouga Desert to discover its unique culture and landscape.
Our first stop is Khamlia, a small village renowned for its authentic Gnawa music, where local artists of African descent will greet you with vibrant musical performances.
Next, we continue our journey to the abandoned village of M’Fis, once a center for the extraction of galena, a mineral used in traditional cosmetics, to uncover a forgotten chapter of the region’s history.
Afterward, we visit a local Bedouin family living near the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will learn about their traditional way of life and experience genuine Berber hospitality in a tranquil setting far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
After lunch, we’ll head to an elegant desert riad with panoramic views of the sand dunes, where you can swim or relax before sunset.
Before evening falls, you can take a short walk to the dunes to witness another enchanting sunset over the golden sands.

DAY 3 : SAHARA DESERT--> TODRA CANYON--> DADES VALLEY
You’ll want to wake up early today. Trust me on this. There’s something magical about watching a Sahara Desert sunrise cast golden light ovver the Erh Chebbi dunes. it’s a moment of pure peace and a highlight of any Morocco desert tour.
After a delicious breakfast at camp, we’ll hop into our 4×4 vehicles and head toward Merzouga. From there, our journey continues to the Dades Gorges.
Here’s a fun tip: if today happens to be Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday, we’ll make a special stop at the traditional Moroccan souk in Rissani. It’s the perfect way to get a real feel for local culture and daily life. You’ll see how people have been shopping and trading here for generations.
Once we’re back on the road, we’ll drive through Tinghir and follow the Todra River all the way to the Todra Canyon. You’ll have time to walk beneath those incredible cliffs. They tower above you, reaching heights of 300 meters. It’s truly breathtaking.
When we reach the Dades Gorges, we’ll stop at a spot with some really unique rock formations. Locals call them monkey fingers because of their shape. What’s amazing is that this whole area was once the bottom of an ancient sea. Can you imagine?
We’ll also get to see an incredible view of a zig-zag road winding through the landscape before we head to your hotel for the night. It’s going to be a beautiful place to rest after such an adventurous day.

DAY 4 : DADES VALLEY->OURZAZATE--> AIT BEN HADDOU--> Tizi n’Tichka--> MARRAKECH
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, we begin our scenic journey to the breathtaking Tpdgha Gorge, one of the most impressive natural attactions in Morocco. Walk between its towering canyon walls and enjoy the dramatic desert-mountain landscapes.
Next, we travel along the legendary Route of a Thousand Kasbah, one of the most beautiful roads in southern Morocco, heading toward Ouarzazate, the famous Gateway to the Sahara. Along the way, we pass through lush oases,palm groves and traditional Berber villages that Morocco’s rich culural heritage.
Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you may choose to visit the world-famous Atlas film Studios (optional) or stop for photos at this iconic movie location, often called the Hollywood of Africa.
We then continue to the spectacular Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Morocco.This historic Kasbah has appeared in international movies and TV series such as The Mummy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones.
After enjoying a traditional Moroccan linch, we drive toward Marrakech through the mahestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’ Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Enjoy panoramic srips to admire stunning mountain views, Berber villages.
